Travel

Quote from Japheth Jr. " Mom, in Uncle Skyler's country they talk different"

Yeah, somehow the little bit of Southern drawl that I had has disappeared and I don't think of it till we go to VA again . . . then it hits me . . .

Now I'm really excited about this trip . . . Once I chose to deliberatly stop dreading the travelling with five children\babies, ages five and under in a little minivan.

When the reality of crabby, tired, dirty (from all the snacking and drinks), and restless children hits and we still have all day to go ( we are starting Friday evening after work and going all night and all day except for a hour or two of sleep, and all the bathroom breaks we need) then I will CRY ALOUD to God and He will uphold me.

I promise, I will be sane when we arrive!!! God will see to that! I've proved Him over and over . . .

Lord, surround that Stauffer mini-van with your peaceful presence and your powerful protection. Keep the drivers awake and alert and the children sleepy and quiet. May the roads be clear and free of rain as You go before them. Amen.

WE would love to have you stop off here for a break!! I think it would be about half way for you. It would be a break for you...and oh, would I love to see you again!!:) How long are you going to be in Va. We might be going down next weekend. Maybe we can meet up there.
I pray that God gives you a safe trip.

Yes, you have lost your Southern accent. :)My family says I talk more Northern, and I moved South. I blame it on the wonderful family I married into. It was so disappointing not to be able to visit with you at Jon's the other night, but we did make the right decision. Josh was still sick the next day, Daryn got sick on Sunday, and I did on Monday. I think we're about back to normal now. Anyway, God bless you as you settle back into life at home.
