Our son is enrolled in Lakewood Christian Academy. (This is the name we choose for our homeschool)I now have a first grader! . . . He's growing up!
Actually I've been teaching him how to read for awhile here and there. We are into words with two vowels now, and just starting math facts.
It's fun watching them learn and comprehend.

What a handsome little guy! It really is fun to watch children learn. Destiny is also learning to read, although she is only going into kindergarten. Her birthday is Sept. 14 (she will turn 6), but the deadline is Aug. 31st. So she will be one of the oldest ones in her class. But that's okay.
Have you taken any pictures lately? I'd love to see pictures of the other children sometime when you get a chance. I know you're a very busy mother/teacher, so no pressure!

Well, he actually just turned five. Yes, I will be posting more pics.
We think so too, but then we're his parents!
But God made him exactly the way he wanted him and we will accept his plan whether cute or not.
He's a handsome little guy! I can see a lot of his dad in that little face, yet his mom some too.....forgive me--I've been asked so many times who our daughter looks like and so I'm on that 'look-out' with other people's children now.
